The work of more than 14 craftspersons is represented in our furniture galleries, which are housed in a large barn and an antique cranberry sorting building.
We call our work primitive because we keep it simple as we stay close to the nature of the original wood and the early ways of furniture construction. We are dedicated to preserving the character of the wood. Sometimes you can see some of the original paint, and you will always see evidence of the distress - some heavy, some light - that's been created over time. |
We have been in business since 1970 and our work is in high demand. We do lots of custom orders, and the lead-time for these can vary between 3 to 9 months, so please plan ahead.
We also have a large inventory of both Windsor and Thumb Back chairs in different woods, stains and milk paints to complement our tables and bring a contemporary or antique feel to your home.
