A one of a kind piece made with an antique pine door and wood recovered from Edward Gorey's barn collection. The wood features its original patina and character. Includes Goreyosities also found in the barn that were inspirations for some of Gorey's characters including the Figbash's profile in the cobbler's anvil. The interior features a gold plated mirror that Dick found in a yard sale and had set aside for a creative piece with Edward in mind, with the intention of showing it to him. Unfortunately Edward passed before he had the chance to see it, so Dick hand carved the Figbash frame around it and recessed it behind the shelves of the cabinet to honor his memory. Edward didn't care to see his reflection clearly, which is why Dick felt he'd appreciate the antique gold plated mirror.

Another creative piece by Dick Kiusalas, this corner TV cabinet was a special order where Dick was given complete creative license. We even wrote "no such thing as too busy" on the order slip. The bulk of the structure is made from Antique Red Pine bedroom flooring from a house originally build in 1738 in Connecticut and then eventually floated across the sound to Lloyd Harbor, Long Island. The piece features inlaid orbs and stripes as well as accent stripes where the paint was scraped off. One orb is actually an original patch done to the bedroom floor. A truly unique piece showcasing Dick Kiusalas's creativity and skill.
